According to Khun Mae, emotions like anger have no mother or father. They arise, the pass away.
‘No mother or father’ means there’s no cause. Therefore, what’s the point of letting anger manifest?
Then I asked Khun Mae about kilesas (defilements). I thought that she had told us that kilesas would never end. She agreed- kilesas would never end…so don’t bother about them.
When they arise, if we were to ignore them, they will pass us by. It’s just like someone who is walking pass us and we just ignore the person.
Since anger is anger- just nothing more than an emotion- don’t get carried away with it. Nip it at the bud as it arises.
