Here are the pictures taken during group outings to Phra Nakhon Pathom Chedi (20 May 2019) and Wat Tha Sung (24 May 2019). More pictures will be added soon….
20 May 2019: Visit to Phra Nakhon Pathom Chedi:
With candles, jossticks and lotus flowers we climbed the stairs towards the chedi.
We made aspiration and lighted the candles and jossticks in front of the Buddha statue.
After that, we proceeded to the Chedi where we went clockwise around the chedi chanting Itipiso:

24 May 2019- Visit to Wat Tha Sung in Uthai Thani:
Above: The main shrine hall of Wat Tha Sung is build to look similar to the shrine hall located in Sudhamma hall (in the Tavatimsa heaven realm). The previous abbot, the late Luang Phor Rer-si had seen the shrine hall at Sudhamma hall during his meditation and had wanted to build the shrine hall to look identical with the Sudhamma hall. This is to provide an opportunity to humans to be able to see how the Sudhamma hall looks like.
